Privacy Policy

91探花 will not sell applicant information. Information submitted through this application will be used to administer the grant program, communicate with families about their application, maintain program records, and, with permission, share relevant 91探花 opportunities such as dual enrollment, summer camps, homeschool events, campus visits, and undergraduate programs.

Non-Conflict Policy

The 91探花 K-12 Christian Education Supplement Grant is a private grant program of 91探花. It is not a charter school program, a public school program, an education savings account, a voucher, a tax-credit scholarship, a government benefit, or a public funding program.

Families who participate in a public charter school, ESA program, voucher program, homeschool program, private school, public school, co-op, or other educational arrangement remain fully responsible for following that program鈥檚 rules, requirements, deadlines, curriculum policies, attendance policies, reimbursement policies, and reporting obligations.

91探花 grant funds may not be used for any expense that has already been paid for, reimbursed, submitted, or requested through a charter school, ESA, voucher, public agency, scholarship program, tax-credit scholarship, or other funding source.

91探花 does not ask, advise, or require families to submit Christian curriculum or religious activities to a public charter school for approval, credit, attendance, reimbursement, or payment. Families enrolled in charter schools should use this grant only as a private supplement outside the public funding process.

Does 91探花 send money to the charter school?

No. Approved grant funds are mailed by check to the parent or legal guardian.

Do families need to submit receipts?

No, but 91探花 may request these from you. We recommend that families keep proof of spending, a confirmation of spending, a receipt summary, or an impact report by the end of the grant year. If funds are intentionally misused or used for an unapproved purpose, 91探花 may require repayment and may decline future applications from the family.

Can I apply for more than one child?

Yes. Families may apply for more than one K鈥12 student, but the maximum award is $500 per child and $1,000 per household.

Is there a waitlist?

Yes. If eligible applications exceed the available $10,000 grant pool, 91探花 may place some eligible families on a waitlist. If additional funds become available, or if an approved family declines or does not accept an award by the deadline, 91探花 may offer funds to families on the waitlist. Families placed on the waitlist will receive a notification from 91探花. Waitlist placement means the application was eligible for consideration, but funding is not guaranteed.

If I receive a grant this year, can I apply again next year?

Yes. Receiving a grant this year does not prevent a family from applying again next year.

Will returning applicants receive priority?

Not automatically. Each year鈥檚 applications will be reviewed based on that year鈥檚 criteria, available funding, and applicant pool. 91探花 may consider prior awards as part of its effort to serve as many families as possible.

What are the selection criteria?

Applications are reviewed using several factors, including:

  • Christian worldview and discipleship purpose
  • Educational value of the requested curriculum, class, camp, or activity
  • Clarity and completeness of the application
  • Financial need or stewardship need
  • Reasonableness of the requested amount
  • Whether the expense is eligible under the program guidelines
  • Whether the family has other funding for the same expense
  • Available grant funding
Is the grant first-come, first-served?

No. Applications are reviewed after the application deadline. Applying early is encouraged, but awards are not based only on who applies first.

How are applications reviewed?

Applications are reviewed by a 91探花 grant review team. The team may include representatives from admissions, finance, academic leadership, donor relations, or other appropriate 91探花 departments. No applicant may receive preference because of a personal relationship with a 91探花 employee, board member, donor, reviewer, or officer.

Does my child have to plan to attend 91探花 someday?

No, families are not required to commit to 91探花 enrollment. However, 91探花 hopes to build relationships with Christian families and introduce them to helpful opportunities such as dual enrollment, summer camps, homeschool events, campus visits, and undergraduate programs.

Does my family have to be low-income to apply?

No, families do not have to meet a strict income threshold to apply. However, because funding is limited, financial need and stewardship factors may be considered during review.

Do I need to submit income documents?

For 2026, 91探花 may ask families to self-report financial need rather than requiring formal income documentation. 91探花 may adjust this process in future years.

Why might an application be denied?

An application may be denied because:

  • The family is not eligible
  • The student is not K鈥12
  • The family does not reside in the United States
  • The requested expense is not eligible
  • The request duplicates another funding source
  • The application is incomplete
  • The request does not clearly support Christian education
  • Available funding has already been allocated
Can I appeal a denial?

For 2026, 91探花 may not have a formal appeal process. However, families may contact 91探花 if they believe there was an error or if they can provide missing information.

If I am denied, can I apply again next year?

Yes. A denial in one year does not prevent a family from applying again in a future grant cycle.

Is this grant taxable?

91探花 does not provide tax advice. Families should consult their own tax advisor regarding their individual situation.

Does 91探花 provide homeschool legal advice?

No, 91探花 does not provide legal advice. Families are responsible for understanding and following the laws and requirements that apply to their own educational model and state of residence.

Can I edit my application after submitting it?

Families may contact 91探花 to request an update, but changes are not guaranteed once the review process begins.

Can I apply before I know the exact curriculum or camp?

Yes, but your application should be as specific as possible. Applications with clear curriculum, vendor, cost, and educational purpose will be easier to review.

What happens after I am approved?

Approved families will receive an award notification and a grant acceptance agreement. Once the agreement is completed, 91探花 will mail the grant check.

This grant is privately funded by 91探花 and/or designated donors. It is not a charter school program, public school program, education savings account, voucher, tax-credit scholarship, government benefit, reimbursement program, entitlement, or public funding program. The grant is not connected to, sponsored by, administered by, endorsed by, or approved by any public charter school, school district, county office of education, state agency, ESA program, voucher program, or government agency.

Families who participate in a charter school, homeschool program, homeschool co-op, private school, public school, ESA program, voucher program, scholarship program, or any other educational arrangement remain fully responsible for understanding and following that program鈥檚 rules, requirements, deadlines, curriculum policies, attendance requirements, reimbursement policies, reporting obligations, and applicable laws. 91探花 does not provide legal, tax, homeschool, charter school, ESA, voucher, public school, private school, or state compliance advice. Families should consult their own legal, tax, educational, or program advisors as needed.

Grant funds may be used only for the Christian educational purpose approved by 91探花. Eligible uses may include Christian curriculum, Bible curriculum, biblical worldview resources, homeschool or co-op classes, Christian camps, Christian educational activities, tutoring, online courses, educational materials, or other approved K鈥12 learning resources consistent with the mission and purpose of the grant.

Grant funds may not be used for any item, curriculum, class, camp, activity, service, or resource that has already been paid for, reimbursed, submitted, or requested through a charter school, public school, ESA, voucher, public agency, scholarship program, tax-credit scholarship, church fund, private grant, or other funding source. Families may not receive 91探花 grant funds and another source of funding for the same expense. Any applicant who is unsure whether a request may duplicate another funding source must disclose that information in the application.

91探花 does not ask, advise, or require families to submit Christian curriculum, religious curriculum, Bible materials, Christian camps, or religious activities to a public charter school or any public program for approval, credit, attendance, payment, or reimbursement. Families enrolled in charter schools or other public programs should use this grant only as a private supplement outside the public funding process.

For 2026, the maximum award is $500 per child and $1,000 per household. Funding is limited. Submitting an application does not guarantee an award. Approved applicants may receive the full amount requested or a partial award depending on available funding, eligibility, selection criteria, and the number of qualified applications received.

Applications are not awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications may be reviewed based on factors such as Christian educational purpose, educational value, clarity of the request, financial need or stewardship need, reasonableness of cost, eligibility, completeness of the application, compliance with program rules, and available funding. 91探花 reserves the right to deny any application, issue a partial award, place an eligible applicant on a waitlist, request additional documentation, or decline funding for any request that does not align with the program’s purpose, mission, or guidelines.

The grant is available only to eligible families residing in the United States. International students and families living outside the United States are not eligible at this time. Applications must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Students, including minors, should not complete or submit the application on their own.

Approved grant funds are expected to be mailed by check to the parent or legal guardian after the family completes the required grant acceptance agreement. Families agree to use the funds only for the approved purpose. If plans change, families should contact 91探花 before using the funds for a different curriculum, class, camp, activity, or resource. 91探花 may approve or deny a revised use at its discretion.

91探花 may request a spending confirmation, a receipt summary, an impact report, a testimonial, or other reasonable documentation showing that grant funds were used for the approved purpose. 91探花 reserves the right to request additional documentation, deny incomplete or inaccurate applications, decline duplicate applications, require repayment of funds intentionally misused, and deny future applications from families who misuse grant funds or provide false or misleading information.

Applications from 91探花 employees, board members, officers, major donors, review committee members, or their immediate family members may be subject to additional review, disclosure, recusal, or conflict-of-interest procedures. No applicant may receive preference because of a personal relationship with a 91探花 employee, board member, donor, reviewer, officer, or representative.

Donors may contribute to the grant fund, but individual award decisions are made solely by 91探花 through its established review process. Donors may not select, direct, or require grants to be awarded to specific individuals or families. 91探花 retains discretion and control over grant administration, eligibility, award decisions, and use of funds consistent with the program鈥檚 charitable and educational purposes.

91探花 does not provide tax advice. Families are responsible for consulting their own tax advisor regarding the tax treatment of any grant funds received. Acceptance of a grant does not create enrollment at 91探花, does not guarantee admission to any 91探花 program, and does not require future enrollment in any 91探花 program.

91探花 will not sell applicant information. Information submitted through the application may be used to administer the grant program, communicate with families about their application, maintain program records, process awards, conduct reporting, and evaluate program impact. With permission, 91探花 may also share relevant information about 91探花 opportunities such as dual enrollment, summer camps, homeschool events, campus visits, undergraduate programs, and other educational opportunities for families.

91探花 reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the grant program at any time; adjust deadlines, award amounts, eligibility requirements, selection procedures, and reporting requirements; and make final determinations regarding eligibility, awards, approved uses, and program administration.
