Next weekend, September 13-14, we will be hosting our annual Women’s Conference.

The theme for this year’s women’s conference is based on Galatians 1:10, “For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would... not be a slave of Christ.” Living for the approval of man has become a sin issue that impacts our everyday lives, including our relationship with God and those around us. We must see the dangers of this sin, uproot it from our thinking, and seek the approval of God.

We will be welcoming @costiwhinn , teaching pastor at Shepherd’s House Bible Church, along with several breakout speakers, including Brianna Harris, Julie Devore, Jamaica F. Groover Skelton, and Shelbi Cullen, who will be addressing this topic in greater depth.

During today’s chapel service, 91̽�� students had the opportunity to hear from our Chancellor, Dr. John MacArthur.

Last week, 91̽�� President Dr. Abner Chou preached on being “For Christ.” Today, Dr. MacArthur preached from Psalm 19 on Scripture: its sufficiency and its power to ...transform the inner person.

“The law of Yahweh is perfect, restoring the soul;
The testimony of Yahweh is sure, making wise the simple.
The precepts of Yahweh are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of Yahweh is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Last Wednesday we held our annual Convocation Chapel.

Dr. William Varner, Professor of Biblical Languages and Bible Exposition, challenged fellow faculty, staff, and students with Paul’s command: “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ...ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.” 2 Tim. 2:15 @legacystandardbible

We begin each academic year with our Convocation Chapel to remember why we exist as a school: to empower students for a life of enduring commitment to Christ, biblical fidelity, moral integrity, intellectual growth and lasting contribution to the Kingdom of God worldwide.

This week is built on facilitating core relationships with administrators, faculty, staff, and student leaders to help maximize the student experience at the university.
